What is Monk Fruit?

Monk fruit is a melon native to Southeast Asia that has natural sweetness, but doesn’t contain any of the calories or carbs that sugar does. Monk fruit was originally cultivated by monks in China hundreds of years ago.

It grows on a vine (ours is hand picked) and is high in antioxidants. The monk fruit we use is GMO-free, too. 

The process is simple: crush the monk fruit to release its juice, infuse it in hot water and filter it to create a clear, sweet juice. 

What are the net carbs?
Swoon syrup has zero net carbs. Swoon mixers each have 1 net carb.
Are Swoon products Kosher?

Yes, Swoon products are Kosher certified!

Are Swoon products Gluten-Free?
Yes, Swoon products are all 100% Gluten-Free.
Are Swoon products Vegan?
Yes, Swoon products are vegan!
Is Swoon Keto friendly?

Yes, Swoon is keto-friendly! It has zero carbs and zero sugar. 

Are Swoon products Dairy Free?

Yes, all Swoon products are completely dairy free.

Are Swoon products natural?

Yes! With so many artificial sweeteners out there, we wanted to make sure that we could keep life sweet without sugar and without anything artificial. 

Are Swoon products safe for Diabetics?

Absolutely! Swoon syrup has zero glycemic impact. In fact, our co-founder Jen is a Type 1 Diabetic and she created Swoon in order to enjoy the sweetness in life without making any sacrifices.

Does Swoon have Preservatives?
Swoon does not have any artificial preservatives. We do use Lactic Acid to keep Swoon fresh. Lactic Acid is natural and you can find it in a lot of other everyday foods, like yogurt.
Does Swoon have an aftertaste?

No! Everyone’s taste buds are a little bit different, so we sampled a lot of bartenders, baristas, bakers and more to make sure that Swoon doesn’t have an aftertaste.

Do Swoon products contain sugar alcohols?
No, Swoon syrup is the only monk fruit simple syrup with zero sugar alcohols. Sugar alcohols are not well absorbed or metabolized by our bodies, which is why they can cause stomach pain. Our mixers don't contain any sugar alcohols either!
Do Swoon products need to be refrigerated?
Yes, after they're opened! We don’t use any artificial preservatives so in order to keep your Swoon products fresh, you should refrigerate the bottles after they're opened. We recommend enjoying them within four weeks of opening.
How long are Swoon products good for?

There is a “best-by” date on every unit. If it’s open, refrigerate and enjoy within three weeks!

How much do I use?

For coffee & tea, one teaspoon is the same sweetness as one sugar packet.

For cocktails, juices, lemonades and more, you can replace simple syrup 1:1.

Or, just use one of our recipes.

Can I cook and bake with it?

Yes! Although it doesn't swap one-to-one with table sugar in cooking and baking, so you might have to adapt your recipe.

Is it a liquid?
Yes, and that's one of the best things about it! It seamlessly integrates into any drink, hot or cold to maintain the right sweetness from the first sip to the last.
Can I use it in cold drinks?
Yes. Swirl Swoon into any hot or cold drink and its silky sweetness will integrate seamlessly. Say goodbye to clumps of sugar at the bottom of your iced coffee!
What is your return policy?

Given that it is a food product, we are unable to accept returns.

Can I order wholesale for my bar, restaurant or coffee shop?

Yes, we love to partner with bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Please email us at orders@tasteswoon.com and we’ll get you all of the information you need.

Where do you ship?

Shipping is free to the contiguous 48 states! We can ship to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada, but we have to charge a little bit extra.

Where is my order?

When your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. You can use that number to keep an eye on the status of your order. If for some reason it doesn’t look like your order is on its way, send an email to support@tasteswoon.com and we’ll help you out!

I got the wrong order, what should I do?

Please send an email to support@tasteswoon.com with your order number, the email that you ordered from, and a brief explanation of the situation. We’ll take care of things from there!

My order was damaged, what should I do?
We’re sorry to hear this! We’ll get that taken care of. Send a picture of the damaged product to support@tasteswoon.com and include your order number and the email that you ordered from.
